Perfect Evening for a Family Picnic
Leave the work behind and bring the whole family out for an evening of pure fun! Pack your blanket, gather your favorite people, and enjoy a memorable night together surrounded by live music, amazing animals, and the beautiful atmosphere of the Zoo. Whether you're relaxing on the grass, exploring exhibits with the kids, or simply enjoying time together, this is the perfect chance to unwind and make memories — no meetings, no networking, just fun.

Your Picnic Menu

We will provide some wrapped sandwiches, but you are also welcome to bring your own feast, whether homemade or picked up from your favorite local restaurant, OR enjoy delicious bites from around the Zoo. Grab a BioPark cheeseburger, loaded fries, margarita pizza, or nacho supreme at the Cottonwood Café. Cones will be scooping up all your favorite ice cream flavors, while the Carousel Stand keeps things fun with dirty sodas and popcorn. Get there early to snag a fan-favorite smash burger and ice cream float from Café Chill.


For the grown-ups, sip, relax, and enjoy the music. Each evening features plenty of bar options, including a must-try Spirited Fruit Cocktail Bar with your choice of watermelon, strawberries, grapes, or pineapple muddled and topped with a spirit for the ultimate refreshing treat.

Variety of Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Options are available for purchase. (We will bring some jugs of tea and lemonade)

Habitats

Make the most of your evening as the entire Zoo will be open for wandering, exploring, and visiting your favorite animals all the way until 8 pm.

Note: Penguin Chill will be closed as the penguins have an Antarctic bedtime.

Zoo Music gets thrilling with country, Americana, and Southern rock from Holy Roller. This Richmond, Virginia based group has been dominating the east coast and will be grooving the Bandshell Stage at 7 pm. Their powerful, riff-driven sound sets the stage for an exciting summer night.
